Professional Philosophy:

As a therapist, I strive to treat people as unique individuals who regardless of their struggles and circumstances deserve to be heard, accepted and find healing. I am honored to accompany and empower others in their unique healing journeys. I use an integrative approach with mindfulness, person-centered care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-focused and play therapy methods; along with encouraging those I work with to pursue holistic approaches that focus on health, exercise, proper sleep and nutrition, nurturing relationships, and positive hobbies. I work with young children, adolescents and adults, within individual and family settings. In the midst of this serious work, I seek to find hope, joy, and humor.

Professional Experience:

My professional experience includes working with pregnant mothers, children, adolescents and young adults in multiple areas of services for the past 8 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University, 2017 as well as being licensed by the Board of Social Work as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. I am currently in the process of obtaining independent licensure and practice under the supervision of my supervisor.
