About the Director of Student Support Services

My name is Patrick Gordon and I am the director for student support services for Pine Island Public Schools. I have over 14 years of experience in the field of special education.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College (near Chicago, Illinois), my masters’ degree from the University of St. Thomas and my Director of Special Education license from the University of Minnesota. Prior to Pine Island, I had worked in the Rochester and Chisago Lakes school districts.   Aside from my special education director duties at Pine Island, I also serve as the district assessment coordinator, coordinate the new ADSIS program and supervise most of the paraprofessionals in the district. I also serve as an adjunct faculty member with St. Mary's University as part of their graduate special education program.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions at 356-3210 or at pgordon@pineisland.k12.mn.us. Again, I want to welcome you Pine Island Public Schools and look forward to meeting you!
